Sudden Valley Holiday Craft Fair
The holidays are upon us! Friends of the South Whatcom Library will be greeting guests at the November 19 Sudden Valley Holiday Craft Fair in the Dance Barn, 10am to 3pm. Please help us fortify our membership by encouraging non-members to sign up for a FREE Friends of the South Whatcom Library membership. The Friends email (bcc) a newsletter monthly about upcoming events & what’s going on at the library. Each new membership household signing up at the holiday craft fair on 11/19 will be entered for one of two drawings: a canvas library tote filled with sundries, books, wine, a gift certificate & more!
Please stop by our $3.00 Gift Wrapping Service & have your purchased gifts carefully wrapped. Funds go to Friends of the South Whatcom Library which support our South Whatcom Library. “Thank You, Postal Workers”
Drop in to South Whatcom Library in November and December and decorate a card to thank our friends with the United States Postal Service. It’s a fun way to recognize the good work they do during this busy time of year AND all year round.
Calling all artists with teaching skills!
In search of artist or artists with skills and capacity to teach Tweens ages 8-14 how to draw. Would be

Select the perfect gift from our well-loved, gently used books from the Friends of Whatcom County Library Online Bookstore.
These wonderful Books, CDs and DVDs are purchased online and then picked up at South Whatcom Library, and the funds benefit our local library initiatives! You also can donate books that are in good condition to this initiative – just shoot us a message at frndsofswlibrary@gmail.com
In-Library Book Sale
Visit the Book Sale Cart inside the library! A colored dot system is used to price the books $1 and up. Other books start at 25 cents, price listed on those books. Drop the amount into the Honor Box at the Book Sale cart. The Friends of the South Whatcom Library use these book sale proceeds for funding your South Whatcom Library. Thank you for participating in the Book Sale!
