The goals of the Friends of South Whatcom Library are twofold, to raise awareness and to provide support for the library, both in terms of volunteer hours and funds to support non-library budgeted items/ activities/events. The following activities help to support the fund raising side of our goals.
In-Library Book Sale: Visit the Book Sale Cart inside the library! A colored dot system is used to price the books $1 and up. Other books start at 25 cents, price listed on those books. Drop the amount into the Honor Box at the Book Sale cart. The Friends of the South Whatcom Library use these book sale proceeds for funding your South Whatcom Library. Thank you for participating in the Book Sale!
Fred Meyer Rewards: With the Fred Meyer Rewards Program you can raise funds for the Friends of the South Whatcom Library. Go to your online Fred Meyer account to link your Fred Meyer Rewards card to “Friends of the South Whatcom Library” for 0.5 % donations from your purchase price to the Friends, at NO cost to you! Thank you!
