Thank you, Patrons of the South Whatcom Library!
We are thrilled so many community members champion our library through volunteering and attending library events! What fun we had at recent events “Let’s Make Presents” and “New Year’s at Noon” and “Library Patron Appreciation Sweet Potluck” among others.
Thank you all for joining with us to celebrate the various holidays and support South Whatcom Library.
Hoping to see everyone at upcoming 2023 library events!

South Whatcom Library upcoming events
Playdate Drop-in!

“Your Voice, Your Choice” – Advance Care Planning
Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at South Whatcom Library
This step-by-step workshop will walk medical participants through creating their own enhanced durable power of attorney for healthcare (DPOA-HC) so they can designate their Healthcare Agent (trusted decision-maker), express their wishes for medical treatment, and get this vital document scanned into their health record and on file at the hospital. This document is so essential for guiding care if a person is unable to speak for herself/himself. Our goal is to get this information to all community members over the age of 18 so they can make their plan. Please register WCLS.org under Events tab.

South Whatcom Storytime
Wednesdays, Jan 25, Feb 1, Feb 8. From 10:30am – 11:00am.
Come to the South Whatcom Library to enjoy an open program for ages 2-6 that includes stories, rhymes, and songs with opportunities for movement and interactive participation.

Save the Date!
Mapping Your World
