Last fall a number of our young library patrons celebrated Daffy Days, a shared event by the SV Garden Club and the Friends of South Whatcom Library, by planting daffodil bulbs in the library garden. I visited the library the other day and witnessed the fruits of their labor peeking their slender green shoots out from the thawing black soil.
